Home remedies for Seborrheic Dermatitis

1. Homemade Shampoo (must try)

This shampoo is not only good for Seborrheic Dermatitis but it’s also good for all hair problems like if you are facing hair loss, premature graying, lack of shine, dryness, lice, dandruff and many other hair problems. Most important this shampoo is SLS free, all the ingredients are almost natural, so please give it a try, nowadays I am using this shampoo and I can tell you the truth that with only first wash I notice some change in my hair texture.

Home remedies for Seborrheic Dermatitis

Ingredients:

  1. Dried Indian gooseberries (amla) 100 grams
  2. Dried soap nuts (reetha) 100 grams
  3. Dried Acacia concinna (shikakai) 100 grams
  4. Dried or fresh neem leaves 8 or 10 leaves
  5. One small bottle of sandalwood oil
  6. Four tablespoons of fenugreek seeds
  7. One tablespoon of sodium benzoate
  8. Two tablespoons of ketoconaole or zinc pyrithione

How to make this shampoo:

  1. First of all soak Dried Indian gooseberries, Dried soap nuts, Dried Acacia concinna and fenugreek seeds in two liter water for overnight.
  2. Mix morning cook this mixture for two or three minutes.
  3. After that add neem leaves, sandalwood oil, sodium benzoate and ketoconaole or zinc pyrithione.
  4. Let it cook for more 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. After this turn off the stove and let it cools down.
  6. If your hair is dry then add only 1/3 tablespoon of sodium benzoate but if your hair are greasy and oil then you can add full 1 tablespoon.
  7. When this mixture is cool down just mash the ingredients little bit with your hands.
  8. Strain this mixture and kept this in a clean bottle.
  9. You can use this shampoo for up to 3 months.

2. Coconut Oil or Olive Oil and Tea Tree Oil

Coconut help to stimulates hair follicles, it helps to remove flaking scales, it also boosts hair growth, smoothen dry hair due to Seborrheic Dermatitis and it also good for those who are facing splits ends. In other hands, tea tree oil is antibacterial and antifungal so it goes great and gives you the maximum result when applying it on your scalp.

Ingredients:

  • Two or three tablespoons of coconut or olive oil
  • 5 to 6 drops of tea tree oil

Method:

  • Take two or three tablespoons of coconut or olive oil.
  • Just make it a warm little bit.
  • Then add tea tree oil into it.
  • Now massage it into your scalp.
  • Let it stay for one or two hours.
  • Wash your hair with above given homemade shampoo.

3. Aloe Vera and Honey

  • Mix both the ingredients.

  • Let it stay for an hour.
  • Wash it off with water.

4. Neem Leaves or Oil

  • If you are using neem oil for your hairs.
  • Then take two tablespoons of neem oil.

  • Boil them in two glass of water.
  • When water reduced and remains one glass.

  • One tablespoon of lemon juice
